RESOLUTION NO. 2017-151
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
PETERS CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $179,590, AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR THE FY
2017 RIVERFRONT STADIUM FLOOD REPAIR PROJECT,
AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the bid of Peters Construction, Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of
$179,590.00, for the FY 2017 Riverfront Stadium Flood Repair Project, is the apparent low
bidder.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the Contract, Bond and Certificate of Insurance with Peters
Construction, Waterloo, Iowa in the amount of$179,590.00, including alternates, in conjunction
with the FY 2017 Riverfront Stadium Flood Repair Project, described in the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-149, after public
hearing on February 27, 2017, on published notice required by law be, is hereby accepted, and
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the
City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of February 2017.
