HomeMy WebLinkAbout01/15/1976January 15, 1976 The Council of City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session in the Council Chambers in City Hall at 4:00 P.M. on January 15, 1976, pursuant to the following call: TO: CITY COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: You are hereby notified that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, will be held at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 4:00 o'clock P.M. on Thursday, January 15, 1976 and that said Special Meet- ing is being called for the purpose of considering the following items of bus- iness as shown on attached agenda. You are further notified that no other business except the above will be transmitted at said Meeting. (Signed) Leo P. Motion carried. 69344 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Dowie that the proof of publication of the Notice of Hearing on proposed plans and specifications, proposed form of contract, etc. for the construction of Waterloo Recreation and Arts Center Addition, be received and placed on file. Motion carried 69345 - The Mayor announced the time had arrived to hear objections, and call- ed for oral and written objections. No objections were made or filed. Moved by Wilharm, seconded by Roehr that "Resolution confirming the approval of the plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. for the construction of Waterloo Recreation and Arts Center Addition, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa", be adopted. Ayes: Five. Absent: Getty and Lichty. Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor, assigned No. 24614 in official resolution book. 69346 - Moved by Dowie, seconded by Wilharm that "Resolution ordering the con- struction of the Waterloo Recreation and Arts Center Addition", be adopted.
