Motion carried. 70987 Moved by Dowie, seconded by Bowers that the Minutes of the Regular Session November 1, 1976 at 7:00 P.M., be approved. Motion carried. 70988 Moved by Wilharm, seconded by Getty that request from Roger Neebel Construction Company for permission to construct a temporary concrete driveway at 1705 Pinehurst Lane without regard to sidewalk grade, together with $3.00 for recording waiver, and City Engineer's recom- mendation for approval subject to the provisions of his letter, be received, placed on file, approved and "Resolution granting permis- sion to Roger Neebel Construction Company and authorizing construct- ion of a temporary concrete driveway at 1705 Pinehurst Lane, irres- pective of a later official grade", adopted. Ridgeway Ave. Motion carried. 71010 - The Council asked when the District Court would hear and render a decision on the Corner Pocket Billiard Lounge Beer Permit appeal and City Attorney Smith said he doubted if it would be much before the first of the year. Discussed was whether the approval of the Beer and Liquor License application would nullify the Beer Permit and the court case. Robert Borgeson spoke in support of his application and Mayor Rooff stated the Council also had an obligation to listen to the people.
