The Council of City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session in the Council
Chambers in City Hall at 4:30 P.M. on February 24, 1977, pursuant to the
following call:
TO: CITY COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
You are hereby notified that a Special Meeting of the City Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, will be held at the Council Chambers in the
City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, Feb-
ruary 24, 1977 and that said Special Meeting is being called for the
purpose of receiving and placing on file the proposed Fiscal 1978 Bud-
get for the twelve months of July 1, 1977 through June 30, 1978, and
setting the date, time and place for a public hearing on said proposed
Budget.
You are further notified that no other business except the above will
be transmitted at said Meeting.

71472 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers that the copies of the Call for
the Special Meeting of February 24, 1977 at 4:30 P.M., be received
and placed on file. Motion carried.
71473 - Moved by Getty, seconded by Wilharm that the proposed Fiscal 1978
Budget for the twelve months of July 1, 1977 through June 30, 1978,
be received, placed on file, and the Council having duly considered
said Budget and being fully advised, finds that hearing date should
be fixed and does hereby set March 3, 1977 at 7:00 P.M. in the Wat-
erloo Recreation. Center, in said City, as the date, time and place
for said hearing, and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish
the Budget Estimate Summary and Notice of Hearing, which is worded
and figures as follows: (See following page 2) Ayes: Four. Ab-
sent: Dowie, Geiger, Lichty. Motion carried.
