The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Regular Session at City Hall
Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 7:00 p.m. on February 2, 1987. Mayor
Pro Tem Jack Seeber in the Chair. Roll call: Budak, Lichty, Wright, Dowie, and
Seeber.
Invocation by: Reverend Martha or Bob Ward, Grace United Methodist Church.

re -appointment of Robert Mason, Edward Wilson and John Mclntee to the Housing Board
of Appeals with term expirations of February 1, 1990, be received, placed on file
and approved.
Councilperson Wright stated that she did not object to the individuals being
re -appointed but objected to the procedures used.

that communication from Clerk/Auditor transmitting the recommendation of
appointment of Ella Shavers to the position of Clerk II effective February 3,
1987, be received, placed on file and approved.

that the following requests for travel with expenses not to exceed amounts shown,

Association of Chiefs of Police Center for Advanced Studies seminar of "Civil
Liabilities & Disciplinary Issues" in Madison, Wisconsin, on February 9-11,
