RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXCEPTION TO THE CITY OF
WATERLOO PURCHASING PROCEDURES, TO APPROVE
PIGGYBACK FROM THE CURRENT ACTIVE BID FROM BILL
COLWELL FORD, HUDSON IOWA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE
(1) 2017 FORD INTERCEPTOR SUV IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,576.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the requested exception to the City of Waterloo purchasing procedures to piggyback
on the current active bid of Bill Colwell Ford, of Hudson, Iowa, in the amount of$28,576.00, in
conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2017 Ford Interceptor SUV, described in the
specifications adopted by this Council for said purchase, on January 23, 2017 by Resolution No.
2017-50, after public hearing on January 23, 2017 on published notice required by law, is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 201h day of February 2017.
