The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Regular Session at
City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 7:00 p.m. on April 27, 1987.
Mayor Bernard L. McKinley in the Chair. Roll call: Lichty, Seeber, Wright, Angel,
Dowie and Miller. Absent: Budak.
Invocation by: Reverend Jack Carlson, First Wesleyan Church.

written and oral objections and there were none.

that "Resolution authorizing and providing for: the issuance of Hospital Facility
Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 1987 (Allen Memorial Hospital), of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, for the purpose of lending the proceeds thereof to Allen Memorial
Hospital Corporation, for the purpose of defraying the cost of advance refunding
the outstanding issue of $10,460,000 Hospital Facility Revenue Bonds, Series 1983
(Allen Memorial Hospital Project) of the City of Waterloo, Iowa; the execution and
delivery of a second supplemental indenture of trust to secure said Series 1987
Bonds; the execution and delivery of a second amendatory loan agreement between
said City and said Hospital providing for the repayment of the loan of the proceeds
of said Series 1987 Bonds and the securing of said repayment obligation; the
execution and delivery of an escrow deposit agreement relating to the refunding of
said Series 1983 Bonds; the sale of said Series 1987 Bonds; and related matters",

and he did, in fact, complete the 30 kilometers walking.

90332 - Don Temeyer, Planning and Development Director stated that he was req
present to the Council an alternative plan on behalf of the Conway P1
Development Company regarding the financing of the skywalk connecting
Inn Civic Center Hotel to the parking ramp. Mr. Temeyer stated that
frau Conway Plaza Development Company is a five year repayment plan b
year amortization schedule with a balloon at the end of five years.

payment would be substantially less.
Councilperson Seeber stated that Council had previously approved the
repayment schedule for the Conway Plaza Development Company and that
