The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in
Special Session at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo,
Iowa at 11:00 a.m. on June 18, 1987. Mayor Bernard L.
McKinley in the Chair. Roll Call: Seeber, Wright,
Angel and Dowie. Absent: Budak, Lichty and Miller.
90567 - Moved by Seeber, seconded by Wright
that copies of the call of the Special Meeting of June
18, 1987, at 11:00 a.m. be received and placed on file.
Motion carried.
90568 - This being the time and place fixed in the published
notice for the consideration of proposals for the
purpose of $6,700,000 Corporate Purpose General
Obligation Bonds, the Council proceeded accordingly.
The Mayor announced that the time had arrived for the
receipt of bids for said bonds.
Moved by Angel, seconded by Dowie
that the following sealed bids be received, placed on
file, but NOT OPENED and sealed bidding closed:
Name of Bidder
1. The Northern Trust Company.
2. Harris Trust and Savings Bank and Associates.
3. Prudential-Bache Capital Funding.
4. Clayton Brown & Associates, Inc.

that proof of publication of notice
issuance of $6,700,000 Corporate
Obligation Bonds as published in the
June 4 and 11, 1987, be received and

that Clerk be instructed to open all sealed bids which
